Since his days playing underground shows in Dhaka as a teenager, Bangladesh-born Toronto resident Saad Ayub has been a force behind the decks. Now being recognized for his mastery in the studio, 2016 has been a massive year for his career as a producer.
His 2016 accomplishments include two original releases on label Who’s Afraid of 138?! (Armada): ‘Move On’ with Jennifer Rene and ‘Ever After’ with Fenja (a.k.a. Jaren Cerf); a remix of Tenishia’s ‘Where Do We Begin’; and his Abora Recordings release ‘Solitude’ with Francesca Genco, which is featured on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance Future Favorite Best of 2016’ compilation. His tracks have received a total of 10 plays on A State of Trance Radio Show, as well as ASOT Future Favorite for ‘Move On’, ‘Solitude’, and his remix of ‘Where Do We Begin’. ‘Move On’ was also voted as ASOT Tune of the Week. Saad has also seen major support this year from heavy hitters Sean Tyas, RAM, John O’Callaghan, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and many more.
Having started his musical journey in 2006 as a DJ in Bangladesh, Saad is at home in front of crowds. His live performances have ranged from major festivals, including Digital Dreams Festival in Toronto, Canada, and Nocturnal Wonderland in Southern California, to intimate club shows, to the main room at Toronto’s famed Guvernment Nightclub.
